I am a current junior majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry and global health at Duke University. I tutor in Manhasset during the summers to help students prepare for the SAT, college applications, as well as any science-related courses or subject tests.
Experience
I have tutored middle and high school students in math, science, and writing for the past five years with great results including significant improvements in school grades, Regents scores, and overall writing abilities. Since I only left high school a few years ago, I still vividly remember the anxiety that accompanied standardized testing and college apps, and hope to assist and advise other students in these areas to better prepare them. While majoring in biology, I am currently working on a couple of publications in a biochemistry and pharmacology lab at Duke so I am consistently exposed to different scientific fields on a daily basis. I can assist in editing research papers and longer essays for classes.
